NFL Sacks Leader

Wands Replacing Pat-Down Searches At Vikings Games
(Minneapolis, MN) — Vikings officials say there will be hand-held metal detectors instead of pat-down searches at a couple Metrodome gates for this Sunday’s game and they expect to be using wands at all gates by the December 4th game against Denver. Vikings Security Director Kim Klawiter (KLOW’-ih-ter) says it’s not a response to any particular threat. He says the N-F-L has determined that wands are a more thorough way of checking for weapons. Klawiter says fans probably won’t see much of a change in how much time it takes to get through the gate — and he predicts the delay could be even shorter in the winter because people won’t have to open up their coats.
(Iowa City, IA) — The University of Minnesota volleyball team is at Iowa for a Big Ten matchup tonight. The Gophers are coming off of Wednesday’s loss to No. 5 Nebrasa.
