6 medium sweet potatoes, cooked
3 tbsp butter
12 – 18 marshmallows
milk, if needed
1/4 cup brown sugar
Mash sweet potatoes, adding sugar, butter and a little milk to soften. Add 1/2 cup chopped pecans, if desired. Turn into buttered baking dish. Press marshmallows into top of mixture so only the top shows. Bake at 300-325 degrees about 30 minutes until browned.
