Minnesota Wild: Player Watch, Tuesday 22 Nov 11

D Justin Falk has put on a visor for the first time in his NHL career due to a number of close calls recently both with he and teammates.

D Marco Scandella sustained a concussion Nov. 12 at Los Angeles. He missed his fourth game Saturday but took part in the morning skate and is close to a retur — maybe Wednesday against Nashville.

G Josh Harding played against the Blues — surprising only because G Niklas Backstrom was 4-0-1 in his past six appearances (five starts) with a .960 save percentage.

C Mikko Koivu has been picked apart and shredded in Minnesota in the early going thanks to one goal in the first 19 games.

D Marek Zidlicky sustained a concussion Nov. 15 at Columbus and missed his second game Saturday against Columbus. He is out indefinitely

LW Guillaume Latendresse sustained a concussion Nov. 10 at San Jose. He missed his fifth straight game Saturday and is out indefinitely.

D Greg Zanon aggravated a groin injury in the third period Oct. 20 at Edmonton and missed his 13th straight game Saturday. He is out indefinitely.

D Mike Lundin (back spasms) missed most of training camp. He practiced with the team for the first time Nov. 7 and is currently on a conditioning stint with the Houston Aeros.
