Minnesota Man Dies In Wisconsin Plane Crash 25 Nov 11

A 24-year-old man believed to be affiliated with Minnesota State Mankato is dead after a small plane crash in central Wisconsin. The man was piloting the single-engine plane believed to be owned by MSU Mankato when it went missing at around 5pm Thursday. Officials started a search and found it about four hours later in a heavily wooded area in the Wisconsin town of Bern. Authorities say the pilot was alone on board and was dead when rescuers found him. They believe he lived in Minnesota and was flying to Merrill, Wisconsin to visit family for the holiday.
