A 44-year-old Mankato man faces multiple counts of criminal sexual conduct over accusations that he sexually assaulted a 10-year-old girl in Nicollet County. Larry Arthur Albert Tietz allegedly touched the girl sexually while the 2 were deer hunting earlier this month. He has been charged with 2 counts of 2nd-degree criminal sexual conduct and 1 count of 5th-degree criminal sexual conduct. The incident was reported by the mother of one of the girl’s friends, and when authorities contacted the victim’s parents they claimed to be aware of the situation. Tietz was released from jail on Monday after posting a $15,000 bond. Authorities are also investigating allegations that he molested a 17-year-old girl in Blue Earth County. He has also worked with Salvation Army and church youth groups in the past, and other possible incidents are being looked into.
