Local Polling Times & Places 08 Nov 11

The times that the polls open for Election Day today (TUE) vary depending on the school district. The majority of polling places in Minnesota opened at 7 o’clock this morning, including for New Ulm’s District 88 referendum. All polling places close at 8pm. Elsewhere around the area, Sleepy Eye polls open at Noon at Sleepy Eye Elementary School. In Redwood Falls the polls opened at 8, and Cedar Mountain School District residents can vote beginning at 4pm. To find your local polling location, check the Minnesota Secretary of State’s online “Poll Finder.” District 88 residents in New Ulm vote at the District Administrative Center, the former middle school. Other District 88 residents vote at the Hanska Community Center and the Lafayette Charter School.
