A Mankato man has been sentenced to 24 months in prison for his role in a string of burglaries across southern Minnesota earlier this year. 24-year-old Anthony Nicholas Geisler, formerly of New Ulm, was sentenced for the crimes committed in Sibley County on Monday. He was also ordered to pay over $1,700 in restitution. Geisler and 24-year-old Dustin Patrick Reinhart of Le Sueur and 19-year-old Jacob Spencer Langton of St. Clair were accused of burglarizing more than 40 businesses and churches in 6 counties throughout the area this past spring, including churches in Evan, Gibbon and Henderson. Geisler had previously been sentenced to a year in the Brown County Jail for the crimes he committed in that county. Reinhart is serving 5 years of probation for his role in the crimes in Sibley County as well. The criminal cases in the other counties the crimes occurred in are still pending.
