Belle Plaine Counterfeit Bills 25 Nov 11

A 33-year-old Chaska man faces criminal charges for allegedly passing counterfeit bills in Belle Plaine. Ryan Patrick Andrews is accused of using 2 counterfeit 20 dollar bills to pay for food and fuel at the Kwik Trip store in Belle Plaine recently. The clerk at the store contacted the authorities after reportedly noticing that the bills “did not feel right.” Andrews told police that he got the money from an unnamed friend in Belle Plaine. He faces a gross misdemeanor charge for the crime, and will make his first appearance in court on December 16th.
