A Kandiyohi County grand jury has indicted a father and son from rural Paynesville on first-degree murder charges in the death of a Twin Cities teacher in early October. Authorities say 81-year-old Delbert Huber told them he fatally shot 43-year-old Timothy Larsen, a special-ed teacher in St. Michael-Albertville, because he thought the man stole $50 and some tractor parts. Huber told authorities that the victim’s father had hired him and his son to do chores at the farm near Belgrade, and that he and the victim had an argument the night before. The defendant’s son, 45-year-old Timothy Huber, also faces first-degree murder charges.
