A Waseca man convicted of false imprisonment and careless driving will not spend any additional time in jail but will have to register as a predatory offender for the rest of his life. 22-year-old Andrew Mark Schuur pleaded guilty to the two charges in September. The conviction stems from an incident in June where Schuur pinned his girlfriend to the floor and ran over her leg with a car. Schuur also received 125 days in jail with credit for time served and was placed on probation for five years. The felony charge could be reduced to a misdemeanor if he stays out of trouble.
