NBA Sides To Meet With Federal Mediator
(New York, NY) — With some regular season games already cancelled, the NBA is working to get together for more labor talks. Union chief Billy Hunter told WFAN in New York that representatives for the league and players will meet with a federal mediator on Monday. The NBA has been in a lockout since July 1st after the previous collective bargaining agreement expired. Commissioner David Stern cancelled the entire preseason and first two weeks of the regular season last week.
