Pawlenty Gets A Job 18 Oct 11

Former Governor Tim Pawlenty has joined the board of directors of an Atlanta-based supply chain and retail technology provider. RedPrairie Corporation announced today (TUE) that Minnesota’s former Republican governor was joining its board effective immediately. Pawlenty left office last January and mounted a campaign for the Republican presidential nomination but dropped out in August after finishing third in a key poll of likely Iowa caucus-goers. The company noted Pawlenty’s experience in the public and private sectors and work as governor on encouraging economic development on behalf of Minnesota businesses. Pawlenty said last week he was looking for several part-time career opportunities while he serves as a national co-chairman of Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign. Federal filings last week showed Pawlenty’s presidential campaign is still $453,000 in debt.
