A Winthrop woman has been named the Nurse of the Year in Long Term Care by the March of Dimes. Lynette Froehlich received the award last weekend at the Hyatt Hotel in Minneapolis. She was selected for one of the 15 awards given for different areas of nursing from over 230 candidates. Froehlich is the Assistant Director of Nurses at Glencoe Regional Health Services Long Term Care. She has also worked at the New Ulm Medical Center, Burns Manor Nursing Home in Hutchinson, and at the Arlington Hospital.
