The three children, ages 2, 5, and 7, were taken to the Emergency Room at the Mankato Mayo Hospital after reportedly taking an unknown amount of valium pills. The kids have since been released from the hospital, and they, along with 2 other children in the home have been placed in protective custody. Two of the people facing charges for the incident are mothers to the children. They are being charged with 5th-degree controlled substance violations, methamphetamine crimes involving a child, and child endangerment. The third suspect is a man not related to the children.
