The Minnesota State Patrol is calling a crash that happened just outside of Gaylord Thursday night an incident of hit and run, and is asking for the public’s help in locating one of the vehicles involved. 29-year-old John Byro of Madelia is in critical condition after his Harley Davidson motorcycle struck the back of an unknown vehicle at the intersection of Highways 5 and 19 at around 10pm Thursday. The other vehicle did not remain at the scene of the crash, but authorities believe the driver knew that something had happened, and they are being sought for questioning. The vehicle is believed to be a light-colored passenger car or SUV, and would likely have damage to it’s rear end or rear quarter-panel.
