First MN Flu Death Of The Season 28 Oct 11

Minnesota has its first death reported in an early flu season. The state Health Department has not identified the victim, but adds that this past week also saw one more person hospitalized, bringing the statewide total to four so far. Spokesperson Kris Ehresmann says it’s too early to tell if this is going to be a tough flu season. Ehresman says this year flu vaccine appears to be a good match for the strain that is circulating. There have still been no flu outbreaks at schools or nursing homes.
