An elderly Paynesville man is in custody facing possible murder charges. His 45-year-old son is being held for allegedly aiding an offender as well. 81-year old Delbert Huber called a Kandiyohi County dispatcher Saturday night to say he had shot and killed a 43-year old man during a confrontation earlier in the day. Huber’s son Timothy was reportedly at the residence at the time of the shooting. When deputies arrived, they found a body with an apparent gunshot wound. The victim’s name has not yet been released. Formal charges are expected to be filed against the Hubers later today (MON).
