A total of at least 7 people died over the weekend in five separate crashes on Minnesota roads. On Saturday afternoon two people died and two others were hurt after a crash west of New London. A Chicago couple was killed after three vehicles collided in Goodhue County also, and early Saturday morning a northern Minnesota man was killed when his pick-up truck went off the road on Highway 169 in Itasca County. In Rice County, 52-year-old James Holm of Faribault was killed when his car hit a power pole on Saturday. And another person was killed in Otter Tail County after two vehicles crashed.
