A Sacred Heart woman was injured in a 2-vehicle crash in Renville County Wednesday evening. It happened at approximately 5pm at the intersection of Renville County Road 12 and 850th Avenue, 2 miles northeast of Sacred Heart. A westbound Chevy pickup driven by 51-year-old Scott Skalbeck of rural Scared Heart collided with a Dodge Charger driven by 47-year-old Victoria Ashburn and both vehicles went into the ditch. Ashburn was taken to Rice Hospital in Willmar with minor injuries. The Renville County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Sacred Heart Police and Fire and Rescue as well as Renville Ambulance.
