A 16-year-old boy from rural Canby was seriously injured in a farm accident Saturday evening. It involved a grain trailer on a rural Canby farm, and happened at just before 6:30pm Saturday. When authorities arrived they assisted two individuals in administering CPR to Alexander Brouwer, who had apparently fallen into the grain trailer and was surrounded by corn. He was transported to the Canby Hospital and then airlifted to Sioux Falls. He remained in a medically-induced coma as of this (TUE) morning.
