Two people were injured in a car crash at the intersection of Highways 169 and 22 in St. Peter this (THU) morning. A 2007 Toyota Camry driven by 68-year-old Janet Schultz of Henderson was southbound on 169 and attempting to make a left turn onto 22 when it was struck by a northbound 1999 Toyota Camry driven by 57-year-old Larry Miner of Mankato. The crash happened at just before 7am. Schultz was hospitalized with unknown injuries at River’s Edge Hospital in St. Peter. Miner’s 24-year-old daughter, Elyse, was also injured and was treated at the scene and released. No one else involved was hurt. Both vehicles took severe damage.
