The subject of an 11-day manhunt made his first appearance in court Tuesday. 37-year-old Matthew Wrobleski of Willmar is accused of stealing numerous vehicles throughout the region over the course of nearly 2 weeks. He was arrested early Sunday morning after allegedly stealing a pickup near Kingston and leading police on a high-speed chase before fleeing on foot. He was found in a swamp south of Kingston with the help of a Wright County K-9 unit. Wrobleski is facing felony counts of theft of a motor vehicle, fleeing a peace officer, obstructing the legal process and criminal damage to property. His bail was set at 25-thousand dollars during his initial court appearance on Tuesday, and he is due back in court on October 24th.
