A 30-year-old Mankato man is facing felony charges after he allegedly left the scene of a crash Friday on Highway 169 in Mankato. A driver reported to the Minnesota State Patrol that he was traveling north near the Highway 14 intersection with his two children when he was hit by somebody entering Highway 169 from the Highway 14 ramp. The man reported he was hit from behind with his 4-year-old daughter in the back seat. He reportedly suffered a factured vertebrae. A state trooper found a car matching the description of the suspect vehicle, with front-end damage, on Beech Street near downtown Mankato. John Robert Wolf failed a field sobriety test and had a blood-alcohol concentration of point-14. Wolf spent the weekend in jail and his bail has been set at $5000 with conditions. He had not posted bail as of Wednesday afternoon.
