The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating a hit and run on Highway 14 just east of Cobden this (Tuesday) morning. According to the state patrol, a 2010 Ford Escape driven by Gary Berdan of Waseca was travelling westbound on Highway 14 when an eastbound older brown Ford Ranger pickup came over the center line and struck the Escape. The Ranger pickup then fled the scene. It is described as a 90s model, was brown with rust and should have driver’s side damage. Berdan was treated at the scene for minor injuries. The Brown County Sheriff’s Office, Sleepy Eye Police Department and Sleepy Eye Ambulance assisted at the scene.
