A man was taken into custody following a crash Friday night in Mankato. According to Mankato authorities, 24-year-old James Laughter of North Mankato was driving northbound on North 6th Street when he ran the stop sign at the intersection with Adams Street and collided with a truck driven by Jason Kuchenmeister of Oakdale. Laughter and his passenger Eric Zuehlke were taken by ambulance to the hospital. Laughter was arrested on several charges including DUI, driving after revocation and criminal vehicular operation.
