Several more area schools are celebrating homecoming this week. A few have crowned new homecoming royalty. Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s Queen is Natalie Schwartz and King is Jake Lilleoden. The Knights will play Buffalo Hector/Stewart in the homecoming game Friday night. Red Rock Central crowned Alison Kircher Queen and Clay Peterson King. They will play New Ulm Cathedral Friday night. GFW Queen is Morgan Sanken and King is Brady Forst. They will play Waterville-Elysian-Morristown. MVL’s coronation will take place during halftime of their game Friday night against Maple River. Other schools celebrating homecoming this week are St. James, Westbrook/Walnut Grove, St. Peter, Comfrey and Wabasso. Also, Gustavus Adolphus and MSU in Mankato are celebrating as well.
