A grand jury has indicted a Colorado man for the death of a former Redwood Valley High School graduate.
The body of 41-year-old Stephanie Roller Bruner was found in the Blue River in Colorado on November 26th. Autopsy results showed that strangulation, blunt force trauma and drowning were contributing factors in her death.
The last person to see her alive was her husband, Dale Bruner. Earlier this week a grand jury in Colorado’s Eagle County indicted him on one count of 2nd-degree murder, two counts of 1st-degree assault and three counts of tampering with physical evidence.
He told police during the investigation that his wife had walked away from their home the night of November 22nd. Her body was found not far from the house. Bruner was released from custody on Thursday after posting bail. His next court date is not known at this time.
