The winners of the largest Powerball jackpot in Minnesota history want all the money up front.
Thomas and Kathleen Morris of Burnsville decided to take the lump-sum cash payment option.
The couple recently claimed the 229-million-dollar jackpot from the August 10 Powerball drawing. Selecting the cash payment option means they will get 123-million-dollars, but after taxes the Morris’ will wind up with nearly 84-million.
