A ribbon-cutting ceremony on the newly-improved Hermann Monument interpretive Center is taking place this (TUE) evening in New Ulm.
Hermann Monument Society Spokesperson George Glotzbach says many of the improvements have been in the works for the past 2 years, including new paint, descriptive panels, and the inclusion of the story of building the monument.
The newest addition to the Hermann Monument Interpretive Society is a 97-piece diorama depicting the battle between Hermann’s forces and the Roman Legions. Never-before-seen memorabilia is now on display as well.
The ribbon-cutting for the new interpretive center takes place at 5:15pm today at the Hermann Monument in New Ulm.
