Motorists travelling in southern Minnesota may encounter brief delays beginning this week as crews install rumble stripes on highways in Brown, Blue Earth, Cottonwood and Nobles Counties. The projects were delayed by the state government shutdown in July. Work will be done on Highway 15 in 3 locations from New Ulm to the Nicollet/Sibley County line, Highway 59 from Worthington to the Nobles/Murray County line, Highway 68 from Highway 15 to near Mankato, and Highway 71 from Highway 30 to Sanborn. Flagging operations will control traffic to guide motorists through the work zones. The projects are expected to be completed by late September.
