Former New Ulm Mayor Joel Albrecht was recently honored by the Coalition of Greater Minnesota Cities. Albrecht previously served as a board member for the coalition, as well as it’s president. He was presented the Jack Murray Award during the group’s 3-day summer conference for his service to Greater Minnesota. The award is given annually to retiring city officials who demonstrate knowledge, leadership and active participation in coalition program areas over their public service careers. The Coalition of Greater Minnesota Cities is a non-profit, non-partisan advocacy organization representing 75 cities.
