Businesses across the state are being warned of a fraudulent billing scam.

Dan Hendrickson with the Better Business Bureau of Minnesota says a company called Minneapolis Classified Publishing is sending out bogus bills averaging between four and five-thousand dollars, supposedly for set up fees.

Hendrickson says businesses should alert their accounts payable staff to be on the lookout for disguised solicitations.
