---GFW Budget Cuts---
The GFW School Board Thursday trimmed $713,000 off the district's $7.7million budget for next year due to declining enrollment. Several teaching positions were eliminated but a librarian position slated to be cut was instead reduced to half-time.
---Gaylord Theft Plea---
A 67-year-old Gaylord man charged with felony theft for allegedly falsifying vehicle title documents has entered a guilty plea in Sibley County Court. Leonard Russell Scholla faces up to 5 years in prison. Sentencing is set for May 22nd.
---Arlington Theft Trial---
A trial date has been set for an Arlington man charged with multiple felonies. David Norman Gildea faces counts of felony theft, possession of burglary tools, motor vehicle tampering & criminal damage to property. His trial will start May 27th.
